BroadVision Licenses Font Rendering
Technology and Fonts from Bitstream BroadVision
standardizes on Bitstream's high-quality character generation and
printing solution for its Enterprise Business Portal software

MA May 07, 2002 Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ:
BITS) announced today that BroadVision, Inc. has licensed Bitstream's
font rendering technology and complementary fonts to enhance its Enterprise
Business Portal products. BroadVision selected Bitstream's solution
for its ability to accelerate the engineering design process and time
to market, as well as to generate and print high-quality characters.
BroadVision is using Bitstream technology in BroadVision® QuickSilverT,
a full-featured software package for creating and publishing long,
complex documents in multiple output formats (including HTML, PDF,
Postscript and ASCII) across different platforms and networks. QuickSilver
delivers publishing, word processing, and Web publishing for long,
complex, multi-language documents in one easy-to-use package. It
also includes an extensive array of tools to help users migrate
their complex document applications to the open XML standard.
