License Agreement with Bitstream Liberate renews agreement for Bitstream's Font Fusion in Liberate TV Navigator software for interactive TV Cambridge, MA — August 11, 2003 — Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ: BITS) announced today that Liberate has renewed its license for Font Fusion , Bitstream's high-quality font rendering technology. Liberate also renewed its license for Bitstream's compact, stroke-based Asian fonts as well as licensed an additional 25 typefaces from Bitstream. Liberate has built Font Fusion into its Liberate TV Navigator client software, allowing network operators and their applications developers to deliver high quality content and user interfaces to their enhanced television services offerings.
