Mini-Mailers Chooses Pageflex to Streamline Web-Based Variable-Data Print Workflows
CAMBRIDGE, MA - February 11, 2004 - Pageflex (NASDAQ: BITS, www.pageflex.com), a leader in Web-top publishing, and Mini-Mailers, Inc. (MMI,www.minimailers.com), Internet-savvy direct mail provider, announce an agreement through Pageflex partner and reseller Xerox Corporation (NASDAQ: XRX, www.xerox.com) by which MMI will deploy Pageflex Mpower and Pageflex .EDIT in online operations and value-added services.

California-based MMI seeks to become the single print service provider for companies across the nation. Its goal for the collaboration with Pageflex is to maintain a competitive edge by integrating Pageflex templating tools and editing interfaces into a Web-based digital print production workflow. MMI clients of all sizes will benefit from the Pageflex features for corporate identity protection, database merge, and real-time online proofing. MMI currently operates two HP Indigo presses and serves customers with those machines and counterparts from Heidelberg, Xeikon, and Xerox.

"As we began expanding our vision outward from direct mail services to full-range digital print services, we learned that in this business, the hardware is already great, but the latest and greatest software makes the difference," says Bill Rivera, CEO of MMI, "We found the Pageflex Web-to-print technologies by far the most flexible available. And we feel we have chosen a partner who will grow with us as we establish our third facility and devote it entirely to digital print, especially for the one-to-one marketing segment."

"The MMI implementation of Pageflex technology will bring to the world of mailing services our vision of online document editing for anyone, anywhere," explained Anna Chagnon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pageflex. "This agreement also represents a new level of collaboration with long-term Pageflex partner Xerox," continued Chagnon. "Innovators like MMI choose leading-edge technologies and form strong relationships with their technology providers and partners. We're pleased to have worked closely with both Xerox and MMI on this agreement and look forward to building new successes upon this foundation."

" Xerox solutions for the creation and production of Web-driven personalized communications leverage existing production environments while driving incremental business," added Larry Zusman, manager of VI Solutions Marketing for Xerox. "The combination of Xerox digital color production presses with technologies from Pageflex, one of the pioneers in Web-to-print production, provides a powerful offering to print service providers like MMI."
