DMM Launches Health Services Direct Marketing Portal, Powered by Pageflex Storefront
New Orleans, LA — October 18, 2004 — Pageflex ( NASDAQ:

leader in direct marketing services, today announced the launch of
a custom Direct Marketing portal for a leading health education services
provider, developed and hosted by DMM, and powered by Pageflex
Storefront.
The new portal enables staff at HMOs who have signed up for the
service to order customized and personalized print materials to
support their health education and marketing initiatives. The portal
provides access to customizable templates for print products such
as postcards, letters, newsletters, and even magnets. Users can
select branded print products, customize them interactively in their
Web browsers, and submit orders for processing via a shopping cart
interface.
The portal also includes integrated database-driven personalization
for sophisticated direct marketing and health education communications.
Content of standardized, highly-designed templates is automatically
personalized based on the health information needs of a particular
person, and can include medical insurance, medical office, and physician
information specific to an individual. Creating and ordering personalized
print materials is an easy process with guided workflows for each
customizable product, interactive customization options, and 100%
accurate online previews.
To meet the requirements of the client’s application, DMM
selected Pageflex Storefront as the development platform. A significant

The portal went live on October 1, with one HMO as the initial
user. Currently, access to the portal is being rolled out to additional
end users, with minimal training required. “We spent just
one afternoon with our client on training, and now they are going
out and training end users directly,” said Jordan. “It

– and it’s going off without a hitch.”
