Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite Achieves Canon Compatible Designation with Successful Completion of Independent Testing by Lionbridge

Chicago, IL — February 1, 2006 — Pageflex (NASDAQ: BITS, www.pageflex.com), the leading provider of Web-to-print and cross-media technology, and Canon U.S.A., Inc., the leader in professional business and consumer imaging equipment and information systems*, today announced that Pageflex Persona™ Cross Media Suite has been successfully tested in conjunction with a Canon CLC and ColorPASS server by VeriTest, a service of Lionbridge and a leading provider of independent outsourced testing services. As a result, Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite has been designated by Canon U.S.A. as “Canon Compatible” under the Canon U.S.A. Alliance program.

Pageflex joined Canon U.S.A.’s Imaging Systems Group (ISG) Alliance and Industry Marketing (AIM) program in September. Canon and Pageflex have since begun joint promotion of Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite, a new desktop software application for producing database-driven personalized print and email documents, to more than 5,000 sales representatives across all Canon Authorized Dealer Channels. VeriTest evaluated the product upon its public release in December.

“As Canon moves into higher-end production markets, we feel that our partnership with Pageflex will be of tremendous value to users in these markets,” said Sam Yoshida, director and general manager, Corporate Systems Division, Canon U.S.A.  “The ability to deliver sophisticated cross media and variable data campaigns on Canon devices will enable high-end production users to significantly differentiate themselves from the competition and bring real value to their customers.”

Canon U.S.A.’s Marketing Alliance program is designed to help leading software and hardware companies deliver value-added workflow solutions to users of Canon’s core line of imageRUNNER®, CLC®, and Integrated Filing Systems products. Canon markets these products to its dealer channel in order to help them identify potential new solutions and workflow scenarios in which their customers can most effectively utilize Canon products.

With the introduction of Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite and the successful completion of testing, Canon U.S.A. dealers now can offer customers a robust desktop solution for database-driven targeted communications with unmatched sophistication in feature set and the assurance that comes with the Canon Compatible designation.

“We are pleased to have been awarded the Canon Compatible designation,” says Anna Chagnon, Pageflex CEO. “The combination of Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite and a Canon CLC or imageRUNNER device brings a new level of sophistication in messaging and quality output for users in production environments in both commercial print and corporate settings.”

A report summarizing the test plan developed by VeriTest and the results has been published at http://www.veritest.com/canon as a public validation of the Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite solution’s third-party compatibility with Canon imageRUNNER, CLC, and related Imaging Filing Systems products.
