Display Modes: Zurich
We have designed Font Fusion so it produces the best possible output
for monochrome devices, TVs, and color LCDs. We use different modes
to improve the quality of the output on each of these displays.
Click any of the buttons below to view the output. For best
results with the LCD modes, you need a color LCD display (a
notebook computer), using RGB color ordering.
- TT
B&W = Monochrome (black-and-white) TrueType font
output (i.e., no anti-aliasing)
- TT
Gray = Anti-aliased (grayscale) TrueType font output
- TT
Auto = Run-time, auto-hinted TrueType font output
- TV_1
= Anti-aliased TrueType font output for TVs, mode 1 (not
using run-time, auto-hinting; using anti-aliasing and integer
metrics)
- TV_2
= Anti-aliased TrueType font output for TVs, mode 2 (same
as mode 1, but activates lightweight hinting in "y")
- LCD_1
= Anti-aliased TrueType font output for LCDs, mode 1 (not
using run-time, auto-hinting; using anti-aliasing and integer
metrics)
- LCD_2
= Anti-aliased TrueType font output for LCDs, mode 2 (same
as mode 1, but activates lightweight hinting in "y")
