Complex Scripts: Complex Scripting Languages
Some worldwide languages require special functionality to interpret language rules and shape characters before they can be rendered. For example, Arabic, Hebrew, Indic, and Thai are complex scripts. They each have different language rules, which makes composing and rendering characters for these languages even more complex. This cannot be done solely by a font rendering engine, such as Bitstream Font Fusion. It requires a text composition engine like Bitstream Panorama.
