Running Font Navigator

• Windows 98
• Windows 2000 or Windows XP
• on a "dual-boot" system

Error Messages

• Unable to install this font
• Cannot Install This Font
• ATM Error -1
• ATM Error -404

Installing and Removing Fonts

• When I uninstall fonts with Font Navigator, they reappear on my font lists in applications
• Fonts have disappeared from my Font Catalog
• After I use the Find Fonts command, some of my fonts disappear from the Font Catalog
• When I select font in Font Navigator, I get a message to insert the disk, or Font Navigator tells me the file is not available
• Font Navigator does not show the same list of installed fonts as my application (word processor, desktop publisher, spreadsheet, etc.)
• Does Font Navigator support Open Type fonts?

Using PostScript Type 1 Fonts

• Font Navigator does not recognize my PostScript Type 1 fonts
• I get a message that I need ATM after Font Navigator searches my drives for fonts
• Font Navigator does not recognize my PostScript printer port
• Font Navigator does not install PostScript fonts to my PostScript printer port
• PostScript fonts installed by Font Navigator do not print or download to PostScript printers

Using Font Groups

• After making an association for a font group, how do I get the associated application or document to open?
• My font groups do not stay installed
• I get a message that a Font Group cannot install because of a problem with one of the fonts
• I cannot rename my font groups

Printing Font Samples

• I can not print font samples from Font Navigator
