You can force Netscape 4.x to refresh a single page regardless of what is stored in the cache. Hold down the Shift key (Windows) or the Option key (MacOS) and click Reload.

To clear the entire cache, follow this procedure.

1. Choose Edit > Preferences. Netscape displays the Preferences dialog box.
   
2. Under Category, click Advanced, then click Cache.
   
3. Click Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache.
   
4. Click OK to close the dialog box, and then click Reload on the toolbar to reload the page.
