Complex scripts such as Arabic and Indic have unique linguistic rules. Processing these language rules significantly increases the complexity of rendering fonts for these languages. Bitstream Panorama concurrently interprets OpenType rules and relies on its proprietary shaping engine to substitute, position, and connect characters in scripting languages, resulting in a complete text composition solution for our developer-partners worldwide.

Beyond controlling text alignment and letter spacing, Bitstream Panorama also supports text effects such as underline, drop shadow and glow.  Support for OpenType font tables enables developers to add automatic character substitution for ligatures, swashes and other professional-level text considerations.

Bitstream Panorama works seamlessly with Font Fusion, Bitstream’s premier font rendering engine.  This comprehensive solution integrates composition and font rendering in one compact, easy-to-use product.  While Font Fusion enables the rendering of individual characters, Bitstream Panorama enables the composition and rendering of strings of characters in any worldwide language.

Bitstream Panorama is available as platform independent SDK. The Bitstream font solution, based on Font Fusion and Panorama is also available as pre-integrated high-performance plug-in for:
