Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite is a desktop software application that enables targeted and personalized content in both print and email. The product incorporates award-winning variable data and cross-media functionality from Pageflex into a desktop application.

Pageflex Persona Cross Media Suite is available from Pageflex and its resellers. The complete application suite includes output drivers for EPS, HTML, PostScript, Optimized PostScript, and PDF. Add-on drivers for optimized output formats are available for producing formats including PPML, VDX, VIPP, VPS, and JLYT.

User-Friendly Desktop Interface
Persona Cross Media Suite includes a set of applications, tools, and drivers that together enable you to create variable layouts, produce print output in both standard and optimized formats, produce and send HTML email output, and manage digital asset files used in variable data projects. All from your local desktop environment.

The primary design application in the suite is Pageflex Studio, which has a user-friendly, drag-n-drop interface with familiar graphic design tools, including standard layout, typography, image, and color controls. It also includes easy-to-use functionality for setting copyfitting parameters, creating variables and if/then/else rules, incorporating sophisticated element flexibility parameters, and configuring job output settings.

Conversion of Layouts from Adobe® InDesign® and QuarkXPress®
Also included in the suite are a plug-in for Adobe InDesign and a QuarkXTension enabling you to convert InDesign and QuarkXPress documents into Pageflex XML format. This enables you to start with existing layouts and repurpose them for variable output, adding flexibility and variability parameters in Pageflex Studio.

Flexible Templates
Persona Cross Media Suite is based on Pageflex core technology, including a robust XML composition engine, designed specifically for variable data composition, and patented “flex” technology that enables a print document layout to automatically resize items on the page based on the amount of custom content added. You control the flex behavior by specifying guidelines in the layout. Flex eliminates the requirement to develop variable content that is of specific size and length. Once a template is designed, it can be reused with a wide variety of custom content while ensuring that the design integrity of a page remains intact.

Cross-Compatible with Web-to-Print
All templates, variables, and projects created in Persona Cross Media Suite can be easily reused by Pageflex server-based Web-to-print applications. This gives you an easy migration path should you choose to add a Web-to-print component to your business, as well as the ability to produce both desktop variable data projects and templates for Web-to-print, without changing applications.

Included in the suite is Pageflex Packager, which automatically collects all the components of a project into a “packager” file that can be transferred and “unpacked” at any other location running Pageflex software.
